I am back on the PopSugar kick! I signed up for 3 months because I just NEEDED a box fix! PopSugar Must Have Box is a monthly box that has a wide variety of items that are all so fun to receive!
Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette ($36): This is my favorite item in the box!! I really needed this! And the colors are great!!
Blueavocado Shopper Reusable Bag (Ivory Roses) ($24.99): This is so cool! I love it. But I need to make sure I use it. Farmers market??
Caldrea Rosewater Driftwood Hand Soap ($10.50): this is really nice soap and I love the smell.
Graphic Image Pocket Notes (Run the World) ($20): I love this. My sister uses notebooks in her bag all the time… I am thinking maybe she’d like this. She says she reads this blog everyday… maybe it’ll be a birthday gift?!
Fresh Pastry Stand Tea Towel Set ($18): I am not sure what I will use these for. What do you use tea towels for? Would my 12 year old niece like these? They don’t really go with my kitchen (but do the Christmas towels still?)… mmmmm but they are totally awesome
Nature Box PopSugar Must Have Mix ($5): A custom created mix for Popsugar with soybeans, almonds, corn, and cranberries… it’s not my favorite. I like my graze box mixes more.

Thursday Thoughts
I haven’t been posting much this week!! Sorry… I guess my excuse is I’ve been busy and sick.
This guy!! We had a great day on Saturday! Denny’s then Shopping Town Mall. He road the quarter cars (see the picture)… Here’s the video (He’s yelling Elbie, which is what he calls my sister, his aunt)
Then Saturday night the sickness started… I could sense it coming and boom… full force on both me and NF.
Sunday we spent at the doctor’s office… where we waited for for-ev-errr to be told NF has a cold. Oh really? I think I knew that. Anyone else have this happen to them? I don’t ever want it to be more, but I wish it was something I could do! Like other than TLC…. I can’t help but think of the Tylenol commercial, “For everything we do, we know you do so much more”. But seriously though, thank you Tylenol. OMG that JUST came on the TV as I wrote it… weirdddd.
Monday, after being at work for two hours, I realized I had a sticker on my pants.
Then I watched the Bachelor… I think I like Nikki the most.
Tuesday… I felt crazy sick and had soup. And NF stayed home with C.
All of NF’s before bed night products…
Wednesday… I ate Indian food for lunch… which isn’t normal for me.
We spent most of the week like this…
NF has been watching DVDs a lot the past couple weeks. He calls them D-D-Ds. So far he’s seen Lion King, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., Monsters University, The Incredibles, Madagascar, and Toy Story 1 and 2…. his favorites are def Finding Nemo and Toy Story. I REALLY wish it was Spring already…. the darkness and snow is REALLY getting to me.
I am going through Subscription box withdrawal. SO… I went for it after reading Jen’s Pop Sugar poll… I ordered 3 Must Have Pop Sugar boxes starting March. I am SO excited. Then I’ll stop I swear!! I REALLY hope they are good ones.
OH did anyone else catch the AMAZING Syracuse vs Pitt game the other night??? Tyler Ennis got a 3 pointer to win the game with like 2 seconds left! WATCH IT!

Questions I Ask When I want to Talk About Myself: 50 Topics to Share with Friends by Mindi Kaling: ($13.45) I am giving this to my sister for her birthday. She loves Mindy Kailing, and so do I, but she probably did first. I will be using them at her place though!! I wonder if she’ll read this…
Pacifica Color Quench Lip Tint: ($7) I got sugar fig and it smells SOOOO good… except it’s REALLY dark… I got another really dark lip thing from popsugar before, and they’ll probably never be used. Well, I might just sniff this from time to time.
Kooringal – Giselle Mid Brim Hat: ($27.99) I don’t have a hat like this. I am glad I got the giselle graphite color – I think it’ll go with my stuff more than the blue, and the black just seems too dark for summer time. The brim was bendy, which I liked… I can bend it to my sun shade needs. I hope I end up wearing this at least once this summer.
The Modern Cocktail Modern Margarita Set: ($8.29) This is fun! I plan on bringing it to my next get together. Maybe this weekend!! I hardly drink, but these mini cocktail mixers are little and I’m excited to try!
beautyblender Set: ($23.95) I don’t know about this… I get what the spongey thing does… but what is the liquid… can anyone explain this to me? even reading it on birchbox I don’t get it.
Way Better Snacks: ($1) I’m just eh on this… I would rather get chocolate. I’ll try it.
Charm & Chain Gift Card: ($30) I thought this was great and then I realized everything on there is like over $200. I thought this necklace was soo cool and they have a picture of Jessica Simpson with one… but it’s $1,010. A little out of my price range for a monogram necklace… even with $30 off… I don’t think so.
This may popsugar box came to $111.68 for $37.80. I tried to cancel my subscription but didn’t in time and they auto renewed me for a box. I am pretty happy with this box, so I know I’d be dissapointed if I didn’t get it. I am sure NEXT month I’ll be kicking myself for not getting it. I just need a break from popsugar? I say this now I know.

Tatcha Evening Aburatorigami Fresh Evening Beauty Papers: ($15): Ehhh. I’ll keep these in my gym locker. I don’t think I have a shine prob… I wasn’t super pumped about getting these.
Dark Quinoa Chocolate Bar: ($3.99) YUMM! I love dark chocolate, and I love quinoa! I ate this in a day (I had plans to make it last longer than that). It tased like a crunch bar but dark chocolate.
Black POPSUGAR Brand Green Garmento 4-in-1 Bag: ($9.99) Other people I saw got blue or black… I got black. I guess that’s okay. I saw this on shark tank and I thought it was a good idea. I like never get my clothes dry cleaned. I can see myself toting a brides maid dress in this or something. The material is like the recycled grocery bags, which I guess suprised me. This isn’t a bad thing to own, it could come in use some day.
ShopShashi New Nugget Bracelet: ($30.00) mine is not a perfect circle like the photo… it’s like the “nuggets” are too tightly woven in that they bend, which could be cool, but I was spending too much time trying to make it more square… this bracelet is cool, but I could never see myself spending $30 on it. I don’t know when I’ll wear it either.
KAI Fragrance Oil: ($48) This was pretty fancy. I liked the smell and I thought it was pretty cool the celebs it said that liked this. It smells kinda flowery.
Overall I came up with $106.98 for a $35 box. Not bad… except I wasn’t really that happy with this month’s box. I felt like it needed one more item in it. I think I’m going to take a break from POPSUGAR box and not renew. Watch the May box is going to amazing now.
PopSugar Review – February
My very first PopSugar box!
Hanky Panky Lace Original Rise Thong ($20)
This was a fun February suprise. I love a good pair of underwear and this one size will fit me just fine. I know I read on some other blogs that woman were unhappy with this because they wouldn’t fit them. I happened to get the green color (see in the picture)… not exactly what I’d choose for myself, but that’s what make it more fun!
MarieBelle Chocolates Tresor Box ($12)
This should be called “crack in a box”. Oh M Gee. I love chocolate and I REALLY love dark chocolate – I recieved the dark chocolate pearls and I couldn’t be happier with this item. SOO good!
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ($8)
This was fun because it was a full size item. (I’m used to little things from birch box). I didn’t try this yet, but I have a feeling I won’t really use it. I’m a more natural lip color look kinda girl – chap stick is my thing.
Sweethearts Conversation Hearts ($1 ?)
I don’t like these. I don’t really have much more to say about them than that.
Safe Haven book, bookmark, and song download ($10)
I’ve read most of Nicholas Sparks’ books… so I wasn’t really sure if I had read this one yet. When the previews play on TV for the movie I always think, I have to figure out if I’ve read it. (I haven’t – it came out in 2012 and it’s been about 2 years since I’ve read a Sparks book)… I decided to ask friends to read this book too, and then when the movie comes out we’ll rent it and have snacks. It’ll be like a book / movie club. (We’ve done this with The Help, Water for Elephants, Hunger Games, Twilight). I’ve been reading from my kindle since last Christmas… so this will we weird reading a book again. I love that it came with a book mark.
Connoisseurs Quick Jewelry Cleansing Gel ($7.92)
This was a fun suprise! I’ve never owned my own jewelry cleaner. I don’t think I’ve ever really cleaned my jewelry… now I will.
This wrap is like the softest thing I’ve ever touched. I love it! I feel like it could be a little longer… but it’s just SO soft who cares. The price is ridic – I’d probably be willing to sepnd $20 on this.

This link is to her subscription box list. I read through them all. I also read her reviews on them. I was overwhelmed with how many boxes there are out there other than birch box. I ALMOST joined a baby box… but I went another direction.
I am going with PopSugar. The blog author seemed to be fond of this box. Since she’s subscribed to so many boxes I’ll guess her favorite and go with that one. I really value this ladies opinions, she’s taken the time and money to really know her stuff. The box will have full size products worth over $100. I signed up for $95 for 3 months ($31.66 / month).
I will be sure to update my blog on the items I receive. I am pretty excited!
