Dear C, yeah you.  After having this blog for about 9 months?  You finally found out.  Totally my fault messaging YOU about it when I though I was talking to my other friend (happens to the best of us).  Secrets out.

Dear NF, you’re top 3 words this week are dada, baby, and elmo……. It’s really adorable that you say dada and point to dada’s picture… but hey!  What about me!!

Dear Smellen and Janman, see ya tomorrow!  Can’t wait to pick all the applessss!

Dear GinaMarie Zimmerman, So what’s the deal?  What are you doing now with your 50k?  Is it too soon?  What do you think of being fired from your job?  Are you with Nick?  I need to know!  TMZ let’s GO!

Dear Sue Heck, I’ve missed you!!!  omg I can’t freaking wait for The Middle!!

Dear Andrew Kravis, I can’t believe NBC gave you 2.6 Million dollars on Million Second Quiz.  That’s soo much money!

Dear Jeopardy, I am so loving the new shows… it’s the best turning it on and seeing a returning champion a week later and you’re like AHHH that guy is still on!!  YEAH!  I basically always want the returning champion to win, unless I really don’t like them for some reason.

Dear apples, I so don’t like cutting apples.  I know they have those pealer things… but I don’t have one.

What I’m Loving Wednesday

Lorde – Royals: I obsessed.  You can see the music video here.  It’s the BEST song to come on as I’m driving my 2003 awesome rusted car without a passenger side door handle.  Oh and this girl is only 16?  and I am in love with her hair.  I’m determined to learn all the words and maybe make a music video with my sister… am I too old to do that still?

New Jeopardy episodes: I’m totally loving that new episodes of Jeopardy are on.  They also have a new-ish set and graphics.  Not a complete make over, it’s different, but basically the same… in a few weeks I won’t even remember what it used to look like.  I love returning champions – and I want them to win more and more and more!  The guy on right now has a 4 day total of like $130,000!  Whatt!

Big Brother Finale on tonight: doesn’t this mean that summer if officially over?  We’re down to three players… Spencer Clawson, GinaMarie Zimmerman,  and Andy Herren.  I want GinaMarie to win… but I have to forget all the dumb mean things she said to Candice Stewart.  I just read an article here – about how all three finalist have lost there jobs outside of the house.

DWTS: I am totally loving that Dancing the the Stars is only on ONE night this season.  No more waiting until the last 5 minutes of Tuesday night’s episode to tune in to find out the results live.  I do see how this is tough on the contestants though… it was weird when So You Think You Can Dance.  So far I am sooo loving Amber Riley and Snooki (Nicole Polizzi).  here are my predictions for the season…

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split: is this really breaking news?  We’ve all just been patiently waiting for this to happen… even before the can’t stop, vma’s, and the hammer licking wrecking ball video... she was engaged at 19… it was just like hello, why would anyone take that seriously?  Didn’t you deep down want it to work, and be the most long lasting relationship in celeb history… but then she did the vma’s and you were like, LIAM RUNNN!!  Thankfully he did.  Miley… get this out of your system… actually don’t… this is actually more entertaining than a come back/clean up you’re bound to have in a year.  This paragraph is probably confusing to read… but my thoughts about Miley are confusing… I just DON’T know Miley.  All I DO know is that I am glad I don’t have a daughter that idolizes you.

Fisher-Price Learn to Flush Potty: I don’t know if I am technically loving this… because I think it’s staring at me while I go…. and it randomly started singing in the bathroom when NO ONE touched it.  But I do love that NF has a potty now… and that this one is pretty cool with the flushing and song singing.

Wegmans Italian Classics Arrabbiata Sauce: I love this sauce.  It’s so fresh and refrigerated and spicy!  So good on spinach ravioli.

Thursday Thoughts

Splash Finale… I’m thinking Rory will win.  Did you see the drama with Rory and Drake?!  I think it was planned… but it made me really not like Drake!  Do you think there will be a season 2?  I doubt it.  Like Skating with the Stars, I don’t think this will make it either.

Elaine and Max Green… Have you watched How To Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) on ABC yet?  Well the very best part of the show is Polly’s (Sarah Chalke’s) parents Elaine and Max Green (Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett).  They are hilarious!!

I want Ken Jennings to replace Alex Trebek… So is it officially Matt Lauer to replace Trebek?  I feel like this will be The Price is Right all over again… just not the same.

Taylor Armstrong off RHOBH… I guess that it’s official.  She’ll be on the show as a friend like Camille.  My thoughts?  Eh, I guess I don’t really care.

Lil Wayne tweets he’s fine… but he was hospitalized for another seizure… come on lil wayne you’re scaring everyone!!

Miley… I get the short shorts – you have long lean legs.  Wearing the heels?  It looks ridic… is that the point?  She can’t actually think that looks good.

Nashville… Anyone see last night’s episode?  The finale is going to be INSANE!!!

 

Jeopardy Tournament of Champions Final Show Tonight!

It all comes down to tonight!  Only three contestants remain!  They’ll go into the final match with Colby having $22,200, Kristin with $400, and Kieth with $4,800.  It looks like Colby’s the favorite to win… but we all saw how Leonard Cooper came from behind and shocked the world with his incredible win… I’m sort of hoping Kristin beats these boys.  OR Colby wins and does 3 cartwheels and knocks over Alex… and it’s really awkward.

Jeopardy Tournament of Champions, Chicken and Waffles, Fresh Take

I know these pictures are terrible but my phone is ancient and Nicholas can sense a camera from a mile away.  So I snuck these in during Jeopardy last night.  This week is Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.  It’s nice to see the familiar faces of big winners from the past year… however going from a teen tournament to a champion tournament is really a shock to my intelligence – I don’t scream out nearly as many correct “questions” now.

I JUST tried Lays Chicken & Waffles Chips.  Lays recently came out with three new chip flavors, Chicken & Waffles, Cheesey Garlic Bread, and Sriracha.  These chips I just tried taste like… maple syrup… and chicken.  Weird.  I don’t put maple syrup on my chicken.  This is something I’d try but never repeat buy.

Last night I made 4 chicken cutlets, dipped them in eggs, breaded them with Kraft’s Cheddar Jack & Bacon mix, put them in the oven for 15 on 375 and PERFECTION!  I am excited to try all the flavors now.  So easy and fun.

LEONARD WINS!!!

I picked Leonard Cooper from the beginning!  On the 1st night of finals he was in 3rd place way behind the other two contenstants… but it came down to getting a daily double in the double jeopardy round… he wagered his 18,000 (which was almost ALL of what he had)… the audience gasped.  At first I thought he was saying 1,800… no no it was 18 THOUSAND!  Then the answer (question) was totally easy about 12 angry men being jurors.  So Leonard had over 36,000 going into final jeopardy.  He didnt get it right (I didn’t either, I said FDR like Nilai Sarda) but he won the tournament!!  It was the most exciting come back in teen jeopardy history!!!

Jeopardy Teen Tournament Finals…

I was so excited last night for the first night of Jeopardy Teen Tournament finals.  I ate a yellow cake cupcake with half chocolate half stawberry frosting and I was so happy.  Unfortunately Leonard came in 3rd with 3,000 – way less than the other two contestants.   If Leonard doesn’t win then I want Nilai, the adorable freshman.

GOOO LEONARD COOPER!  Leonard is going to the finals in the Teen Jeopardy Tournament – and he’s my fav.  I captured this photo of my tv while Leonard was telling the story of how a girl in school that sits behind him put a pink highlighter in his afro and he didnt find it until a few days later.  How adorablely weird (I’ll say what the world was thinking – so does Leonard take showers and wash the fro?  Or does he wear a shower cap?? – did the highlighter survive the showers and stayed lodged in his hair?)
