Summer is here!  And I love that it’s still light out until 9 PM.

I watched the big brother premiere last night… live (2 hours that could have been compressed to 1 with fast forwarding)…. my favorite is Sam (the girl welder I love her voice).  Spoiler, she ends the first episode as a robot.  Yes, big brother is cornier than ever and does not disappoint in that aspect.  My predictions on the final 4, Sam, Winston, Angela, Scottie (maybe Faysal or Kaitlyn will make if far).  Let’s see how wrong I am!

Thursday Thoughts

Today’s Thursday and I am linking up with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

AHHHHHHHHH it’s a boy!!!!!!!!  I am going to be a mom of 2 boys.  This announcement photo was the very first of like 30 I took… isn’t that how it always goes?

The weather has been fantastic… and we’ve been able to hang outside / garage / back porch a lot which is amazing!  Nothing like watching football in the garage while getting some work done.

Syracuse football is 3-0 first time since 1991 (yes I just double checked that)… we play LSU this weekend… and uhhh we’re not expecting any miracles.

NF’s been to 2 swim classes so far and is the weakest of the 5 kids in the “non swimmer beginner” class ages 3-4 (the pikes)…. but he’s the most entertaining!  He was doing a little awkward boy dance and one of the instructors I think asked him if he had to go to the bathroom and he said about 6 times loudly “I just peed” … making everyone think that he just peed… like right there… but really, he had just gone before class.  He also tries to convince the other kids to just go play some soccer (and ditch this swim stuff).  I am so excited to see him improve each week, it’s the best!!  (and I am secretly glad I started him at age 3-4 instead of earlier when the parent has to get in the water too).

I’ve been going to gentle yoga 2-3x a week and it’s been great during my pregnancy…. I am still going to spin and boot camp also… but I’m able to do less and less in those classes… I am afraid of the day when spin is out and where I am mostly watching boot camp and not participating.

What is the bizarre news story about Kim Zolciak having a stroke after dwts monday but is now 100%…. I’ve been voting for her like crazy (mostly because I think she needs the votes).

speaking of Kims…. Look at these ankles… not looking forward to that.

Survivor 2nd chance premiered last night… and I watched… duh.

And right after the premiere of survivor… the big brother finale aired…. I stayed up until 11 PM to watch Steve win…… yup… that was like 100 hours of my life this summer…..

My sister’s bridal shower is this weekend and I ordered a tiramisu sheet cake from a local Italian bakery (where she is getting her wedding cake) and I am beyond excited to eat it.

I feel like it’s only fair NF gets a cake pop when I treat myself to a frappuccino…. right?

This meal feed me three times.  It was so good, but I don’t think I could get it again any time soon.  It’s the chicken francesca from Francesca’s Pizza and Italian Kitchen.  This is like my latest go to place I love it.

Uhhhh speaking of food… this is my plate from the bbq wedding reception I went to last Saturday.  I loved the corn bread, it had been forever since I had corn bread!

How beautiful is this cupcake cookie tray that came out from the wedding?  I loved it!!

More food… my breakfast on Saturday.

ANNNDD how do you feel about oreo thins because our house is obsessed.  I just got the mint ones this week and haven’t opened the package yet.

Big Brother news….

Vanessa or Shelli will be going home tonight… who is it going to be?!  AND there is a double eviction, whattttttttttt.  And Steve!?

Today’s Wednesday and I am saying SO WHAT if…

• I’ve had a sinus headache since 3 PM Tuesday… and sure enough we have a pollen alert for our area…ughhhhh
• I haven’t read a book in months, what happened? (other than kids books over and over)
• As much as people talk about bachelor in paradise, I just can’t waste my time with it right now… big brother on the other hand, I’m committed
• I am going to another wedding this Saturday… that makes 4 for 2015 so far and 3 more to go!
• Bethenny’s dress fight with Ramona is so old

• I miss fashion police with Joan Rivers a lot
• I LOVE oreo thins so much

• I am angry
• I am excited for big brother tonight… even though this is not the best season (do I say that every season?)
• when I am stressed I get more fitbit steps

• I am thankful Big Brother’s on 3 nights a week because summer tv is not so great
• True Detective has lost my interest…. you just can’t top Woody Harrelson and Matthew Mcconaughey..just can’t.
• I don’t really care that sources are saying Heather Thomson is going off Real Housewives of NYC…
• I am ok with it being rainy and cool today
• I question how important rotating your tires really is
•  Nicholas yelled at this woman who was talking to me from the back seat, “HEY LADY YOU HAVE TRAINS” and she said, “Hey lady?  Is that how you get my attention?”  and he said, “I think like, you look like a lady?  Are you a man?”  and I am just so glad he didn’t say anything about boobs

• I am tired… so so tired
• NF told the lady who cuts his hair he wants it cut like Jack from Super Why… who is Jack from Super Why?  Do you mean Jack and the never land pirates (which until JUST now I thought it was Jack and the big Pirates because that’s what NF calls it).
• C is in Arizona for another two weeks.. see ya
• I have a headache right now
• I keep complaining in my so what Wednesday which probably isn’t entertaining to read
• I have a dentist appointment today and I hope I don’t still have a headache during it
• I wish NF would go to bed before 10 PM… it is getting ridiculous
• I love real housewives of ny more than oc but I love that I get to watch two housewives episodes in a week
• I am so pissed at Scott Disick, but I am in denial of the break up, they’re not really over
• I wish Ariana Grande was just like her character, Cat Valentine.  I was seriously disappointed when I found out she didn’t really talk like that.
• I want to shout out to Frankie (Ariana’s brother) who was in the Big Brother audience last week
• I think Audrey on big brother is so crazy… crazier than day.
• I haven’t watched Sunday’s episode of True Detective yet… and I almost don’t care
• My friend thought that cheerleader song was “jelly bear” not cheerleader… and I died… like what’s a jelly bear?  and she said like a big curvy girl?  OH I think that I found myself a jelly bear she is always right there when I need her…

• I am so sad Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting divorced… I knew it was coming after this article May 29th.
• I extremely recently developed a crush (last night) Ben Affleck after watching the first 20  minutes of gone girl… that might change when I finish the movie.  Don’t spoil it for me.
• I watch movies 20 minutes at a time.  WHAT?!  Sometimes, all you have is 20 minutes… and I like it, drags it out like when you read a book and just finish one chapter…
• NF likes sleeping in his “jeep sleep car” and bed time has been a breeze the last 3 nights…. but will it last?
• I put $20 in the token machine at Chuck E. Cheese to then realize it says no change…. we had way too many tokens… looks like we have to go back!
• I need a painter, an electrician, a roofer, and probably a plummer… asap.
• I finally am a cartwheel app user at Target now that I finally got a smart phone.
• I need to start watching the woman’s world cup
• I am SO relieved the convicts are no longer roaming the woods of upstate new york
• I can never remember what nights big brother is on.
• Our back yard hasn’t been mowed since June 5th…. it’s a jungle now

• I caught NF with my kindle the other day and I said, Hey!  What are you doing?  and he replied “SECOND HOLD ON, I’m checkin my spacebook.”  (I need to remember these moments!)
• I can’t remember the last movie I saw in a movie theater… was it seriously The Heat in 2013??!  I can’t think of one I saw more recently than that!
• I would LOVE love love a Sex and the City movie #3
• Heather is super annoying on Real Housewives of NY… I am seriously team Bethenny right now
• I don’t get what’s going on with Shia Labeouf ever… 8:58 into the video is the JUST DO IT part…
• I want lettuce wraps from PF Changs RIGHT NOWWWW
• I’ve read the same highlights magazines over and over and over and I look forward to a new one in the mail probably way more than nf
• I can’t find shelf bra camis anywhere but areopostale and they discontinued them… then got them back.. and now are sold out of sizes other than XXL… WHY areopostale… just bring them back!!  It’s a problem.
• I’m over Pretty Little Liars… just tell me who A is already
• I’ll be sad when Game of Thrones is over… but I am really looking forward to True Detective… great job HBO transitioning
• I could use a frappuccino right now

Thursday Thoughts

Hello!!  Today is Thursday and I am linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts…

This snake lives at our front door.  We haven’t officially moved into the house yet… but it seems like this guy has been living there comfortably for a while.  I want him gone.  GONE!!  I can’t even enter or leave my house because he’s just THERE.  I have to go out the garage.  Ya know how you open it and then shut it and run underneath.  That doesn’t really work well with a 2 year old.

I didn’t think I’d have time for Big Brother this summer… but I made sure I watched last night…. already sooo excited!!  It’s on again tonight at 9 so I hope I am home for it!  I haven’t picked a favorite yet.

I need to get the carpet in the master bedroom stretched before moving in… ugh… do I hire someone?  Do I trust that someone who says they can do it can?  I just want it done at this point.  I can’t go without it being done it’s driving me insane!!!
