Dear C, yeah you.  After having this blog for about 9 months?  You finally found out.  Totally my fault messaging YOU about it when I though I was talking to my other friend (happens to the best of us).  Secrets out.

Dear NF, you’re top 3 words this week are dada, baby, and elmo……. It’s really adorable that you say dada and point to dada’s picture… but hey!  What about me!!

Dear GinaMarie Zimmerman, So what’s the deal?  What are you doing now with your 50k?  Is it too soon?  What do you think of being fired from your job?  Are you with Nick?  I need to know!  TMZ let’s GO!

Dear Sue Heck, I’ve missed you!!!  omg I can’t freaking wait for The Middle!!

Dear Andrew Kravis, I can’t believe NBC gave you 2.6 Million dollars on Million Second Quiz.  That’s soo much money!

Dear Jeopardy, I am so loving the new shows… it’s the best turning it on and seeing a returning champion a week later and you’re like AHHH that guy is still on!!  YEAH!  I basically always want the returning champion to win, unless I really don’t like them for some reason.

Dear apples, I so don’t like cutting apples.  I know they have those pealer things… but I don’t have one.

Thursday Thoughts

Today’s Thursday and it’s time for Thursday Thoughts…

I see my future in this picture… will this be my son in 13 years texting girls?  (in this picture he has the air conditioning remote).

Last night was the season finale of Big Brother 15.  The final two, Andy Herren and GinaMarie Zimmerman.  Andy played the best game… GinaMarie was more entertaining.  I should have known better to think GinaMarie had a chance.  Duh, Andy is (was?) a public speaking teacher… he did like 1,000x better than GinaMarie at answering the questions.  And is anyone else wondering what’s happening with Nick and GinaMarie now that she’s out of the house?

I used to be a die hard fan (which I thought it was “die heart fan” and I just had to look that up.. and I’m certain I’ve looked that up before).  Anyway, I’ve watched prooobbbabbly 20 of the 26 seasons of Survivor?  I wasn’t going to watch this season, but it happened to be on before the Big Brother season finale (good one CBS).  My thoughts, I like this new dynamic!  Who do I want to win?  Too early to decide.  I am interested in seeing if Colton Cumbie has really changed… and I love that Gervase Peterson is back!  Although, I did not like how he celebrated when their team won, after he proved he couldn’t really swim.

Lorde aka Ella Yelich O’Connor, 16 years old from New Zealand… I’m in  love.  I’m even MORE in love now that I’ve heard her do Royals live here.  I have to admit, I sorta wish she was from NY.

Dear Mccrae, are you really going to stick it out with Amanda and become Mccranda for LIFEEEEEEE!  I’d actually really love to see an all star big showmance Big Brother… has that already happened???  I don’t think so, right?  I mean I know they had Jeff Schroeder and Jordon Lloyd and Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas back for season 13… but I want more showmances MORE!

Dear New York Giants, am I totally wrong thinking that this is America’s team?  Maybe I’m completely biased, but I love my New York Giants… I mean possibly one could decide that the Patriots are America’s team (because of the name)… and Tom Brady is the all american best looking dream man… but no… New York Giants!  They’re the one!  Come on Eli Manning he’s adorable!

My sister got  my this dress for Christmas 2012 and I could not wait for it to be summer so I could wear it!

Buy a house?  We just didn’t do it.

NF’s godmother, Aunt Sammy Sam, is watching him for the next two days while I’m at work.  He didn’t even care when I left, he was all like, “buh bye!!”  She sent me this picture of NF letting her puppy out… and yeah… that is a 2nd floor appartment porch… and yeah… it does freak me out a little bit… but NF will survive (he will right?) and it’ll good change up for him.

I AM SO OVER Amanda on Big Brother 15.  Totally team Elissa!!!  Unfortunately I think that Amanda will just ruin everything and win the game, after not winning anything ever in the game.  Oh, and I hate that picture of her… but I put it up anyway.

Thursday Thoughts

WHO will go home tonight on BIG BROTHER 15!!??  And why do I care so much…?  It’s Howard, Candice, or Amanda.  Aaryn picked Howard and Spencer to go up – then Spencer won veto, and Aaryn replaced him with Candice.  American is MVP and put Amanda up.  The house still doesn’t know America is MVP.  WHHHAT!  So I think it’s going to be Howard.

I asked C who he thinks will go home after recapping him…. he said Amanda cause she didn’t wear a two piece for Mccrae’s birthday.  HA. It’s going to be Howard though… Helen’s in control.

I am not having ANY fried food starting July 22nd – August 22nd.  Why?  Because THE NY STATE FAIR starts August 22nd and I’d like some fried dough, maybe a bloomin onion, maybe some more fair food…. and if I take an entire month OFF from fried food I think I will feel okay about it.  So far it’s been really easy… it’s been 11 days and all I’ve had to do is turn down an offering of a single fast food hashbrown once.  I guess I don’t really have a problem with it.  Chocolate on the other hand…

AHHH I’m late… I know Candy Crush was all the rage months ago… but I’ve finally discovered it.  THANKS for wasting an hour of my night the past 4 nights.  I even played another game up until level 8 to get more candy crush lives…. that’s insane!  What’s REALLY insane is paying for lives… I will NEV-ERR do that… if I do send me to candy crush rehab asap.

I am totally cool with Elissa getting MVP 3 weeks in a row, keep them coming!  … I almost even voted for her, until I realized I had to sign in or something and that was too difficult on my kindle.  If Elissa wins this whole season…. and being MVP helped her… I don’t care either.  Merica is choosing Elissa sooooo if she wins that’s fine.

Did anyone else think it was hilarious/weird that Ginamarie carried around a pair of redshorts to cry/blow her nose into after Nick left?  Oh, and did you think it was hilarious/weird that she was acting this way after knowing Nick a couple weeks?

I have all of Teresa Giudice’s books (secret: I haven’t made anything from her books).  But I am dying to get them signed by her.  She has signings all the time but mostly in New Jersey.  Come on Tere come to a book store near me!  Maybe that should be in my totally trying August edition – to actually make one of Teresa’s recipes.

I was thinking of getting this headband – since Spencer Hastings wore it on PLL… and it’s $14 at Urban Outfitters…. but I didn’t….

Lastly, I want Melissa Gorga’s sweater from last episode to lounge in.  I read that it is or is very similar to Victoria Secret Pink Longsleeve V Neck Raglan Top.  I need to look into this.

Thursday Thoughts

The WINNER of the American Baking Competition…. BRIAN EMMETT (sorry if you were planning to watch this and I ruined it for you).  Brian’s not who I wanted to win.  I decided from the beginning of the last episode I wanted Darlene Pawlukowsky to win, and I was going to buy her book.  I don’t think I’ll be purchasing Brian’s (sorry).

Thursday Thoughts (a day late)

Today is FRIDAY and I’m doing Thursday Thoughts with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.  I know, I’m a day late, but yesterday was the 4th of July!

We were celebrating all day!

We’re down to the final 3!!!!  I was so sad to see Elaine Francisco and James Reddick go!  But I couldn’t argue with the judges decision.  Actually ever episode I’ve agreed with the judges choice of who goes home.  Here’s a link to Darlene Pawlukowsky’s apple/pear/cranberry Tarte Tatin.

Exciting news… I reached out to Carlo Fuda, one of the contestants on The American Baking Competition, and he agreed to do a little interview with me for the blog!  Soo that’s coming soon!

For big brother news…. I am SOOOOOO glad that Elissa wasn’t the first one out of the house.  I’d probably stop watching all together.

I really didn’t care to see David go (sorry David).  Your “showmance” with Aryan was making me feel dumb.  (and yeah I know, watching big brother 3 nights a week isn’t the most intelligent activity, but watching that relationship “develop” made it much worse).  And I JUST read about David saying his sheets smelled because “black Candice” sat on them.  And Aryan responded with something like, “at least you didn’t make Asian eyes in the diary room.”  Totally NOT cool.  I hope Aryan’s the next to go.
