Dear house, I have been able to cross somethings off my to do list… but just not enough… washer and drier needs to get done next!!

Dear NF, you totally freaked me out when you went up to a car and said “ooo chevrolet!”  like how do you know these things?  You’re 2 1/2!!!  I don’t think I could identify the chevy logo until I was like a teenager?

Dear Smellen, Let’s see the movie Tammy… OMGGGGGGG it looks so so so so so so good.  and I have free movie tickets from like 2 christmas’s ago.

Dear Bingo, you were my birthday present… I just don’t see when I’d have the time to spend a day at the casino.

Dear Massage, you were a Christmas present from this year… I should use you!!!!!

Dear gift cards burnin a hole in my wallet, LET’S GO SHOPPING!!!!  (or really, let’s go to starbucks for a drink and then spend $7.39 at panera… and go to home depot)…

Dear NFL and college Football, can you never come back?  It’s been SO peaceful since February.

Dear Shia Labeouf, I mean whatever gets you in the tabloids?  but you seem like a real d bag… maybe if I got to know you?  I’m not sure.  I think we’d be friends back in the Even Stevens years.

Thursday Thoughts

Hello!!  Today is Thursday and I am linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts…

This snake lives at our front door.  We haven’t officially moved into the house yet… but it seems like this guy has been living there comfortably for a while.  I want him gone.  GONE!!  I can’t even enter or leave my house because he’s just THERE.  I have to go out the garage.  Ya know how you open it and then shut it and run underneath.  That doesn’t really work well with a 2 year old.

I didn’t think I’d have time for Big Brother this summer… but I made sure I watched last night…. already sooo excited!!  It’s on again tonight at 9 so I hope I am home for it!  I haven’t picked a favorite yet.

I need to get the carpet in the master bedroom stretched before moving in… ugh… do I hire someone?  Do I trust that someone who says they can do it can?  I just want it done at this point.  I can’t go without it being done it’s driving me insane!!!

Friday Letters

Dear NF, You’re the cutest.  I love that you’re counting to 14 and you’ve known all your letters since you turned 2… you amaze me every day.  I can’t believe how much you’ve changed my life in the best ways.  Mommy loves you!!

Dear summer weddings, I do love a good wedding.  Forces C and I to get dressed up and go on a date.  I used to cry at them but I don’t any more.  Maybe because I have what I want now.  I do however cry during the mother son dance now… I never did that until I had NF.  It’s because I think of the day I will get to do that (hopefully).  And he’s just my baby right now so I cry.

Dear rent the runway dress, I love you I really really do!!!  I can’t wait to wear you tomorrow… and  hopefully I get lots of compliments.  I hope that I am not too drunk and tell everyone the story about how I rented it online (is that tacky to tell people that?)  I better look up who the designer is so I can tell people who I am wearing.  Seriously though if I don’t get any compliments I will be disappointed.  (is that vain?  I don’t care).

Dear Tracy Morgan, I hope you have a full recovery and that truck driver never drives a truck again… seriously trucks can be scary… stop speeding and driving like jerks!!

Dear Mad Men, I am so into you right now… already on season 4… I can’t believe how much I am in love with Donald Draper, even when he’s being terrible.

Dear Mug shot guy, I know everyone is saying he is gorgeous… I just don’t think  he’s like THAT gorgeous… maybe because I am just into Donald Draper right now and that’s not the same look.  Ehhh I just looked at him again… he is pretty amazing with those eyes I take it back.

Dear House, you’re coming along… I just wish I this time of year wasn’t SO busy that I could get more done!!

Dear Smellen, thank you thank you thank you for saving the day when I had a migraine Sunday morning.  Idk what I’d do without you (or NF)…. you showed up within an hour with dunkin and 3 animated dvds for NF (because I thought all the dvds were packed) and let me take care of myself for a couple hrs.  THE BEST sister ever.

Dear parents, thank you thank you for watching NF for all our weddings and being a major help… he loves his gay-ma and My-cool (he calls my dad Michael because my mom does and gay-ma is just funny to me).

Dear Lady at the grocery store at 8:20 PM, yes, my adorable son was still awake at this hour… it’s Friday… normally he’s in bed at 8 but it’s so bright out and still normally he’s in bed at 8… tonight we were very busy and we were grocery shopping at 8:20 PM (and it was still light out)…. didja really have to say to him, “you’re awake!”  because then he repeated the whole rest of the shopping trip, “IM AWAKE MOM IM AWAKE IM AWAKE”… nevermind it was cute… it didn’t bother me that much… and he did call you gay-ma (grandma) so I hope that made you feel loved and old at the same time. (Idk why he called her grandma, she looked nothing like my mom).

So WHAT Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and I am saying SO WHAT if…

• painting ONE room takes a lot longer than I thought it would in the new house
• I am totally overwhelmed with everything I have to do for the new house
• you don’t want to read any more so what’s about the “new house”
• I get really frustrated when I don’t reach 10,000 steps in a day so I walk around the apartment until I get there
• I watched the second season of Orange is the New Black in 5 days… and I really did not have the time to be doing that
• I can’t focus on anything but the things I should or could be doing for the new house
• I don’t actually feel like I own  my new house?
• It’s going to be super weird living in a house when I have become so used to apartment living
• I might be regretting some minor things about the house purchase
• I don’t mind people telling me, ohh this is only the beginning… because I truly have no idea…. but when it comes to people telling me what to expect for my child I get the like beotch you don’t even know me attitude… buttt I probably shell out that child advice too
• We haven’t had a normal meal in a while I don’t think I can’t remember what day is it it’s already frickin THURSDAY no it’s Wednesday omg
• I might be losing my mind
• yes, no, yes, yes, yes, no, no no no no no, yes? no, yes, yes, no… I might be having a crazy eyes moment (you know what I mean by episode like 12 or something)
• I really didn’t think I’d have so many so what’s today
• I love my family
• I love avocados
• I’m like since when did everyone else start liking avocados?  Should I be happy they are popular right now – since now I can get it all over?
• I have a billigilion weddings this summer and not one of them is my own
• I might never get married and I might not care
• I love my family (so much I will say it twice)

What I’m Loving Wednesday

I know I KNOW I know it’s been too long.  I got it I got it (in a Gru voice).

NF: I am totally always loving my little boy.  Yesterday we had all that plant fuzz stuff (what is it?)  I mean it was just floating in the sky everywhere and collecting on the ground.  NF said IT’S SNOW!  IT’S SNOW!!  oh… and I gotta tell you all this… NF sings “STOP in the name of love before you break my heart think it ooohh ohh vverrrrr”  That is the longest sentence (that I can understand at least) he’s ever said.  I HAVE to get it on video.

Being a home owner: uhhh yeah that’s right folks… I did it.  I bought a house… like I didn’t just put an offer in… I went all the way and everything closing and done and done and all mine (well ya know with a mortgage) it’s official.  Am I living in it yet?  No……. do I still have an apartment for a few months?  yes…. soooooo we need to figure some things out (is this too much info for the internet?)…. but omg I have a HOUSEEEEEEEEEE.  And I need to buy a lawn mower and a washer and drier and a GRILL!!!  And a rake and a hose and furniture… omg… this is so expensive… I am pretty much either not sleeping at night nervous and thinking or sleeping so deeply because I am so tired…. it’s one or the other not in between.  K enough about the house stuff, if you’re still reading this paragraph.

Orange is the New Black Season 2: I watched it all… I finished it… in less than a week.  It was SOOOOO good.  I kind of wish I was forced to wait a week for the next episode instead of binge watching all of them in 5 days (when I was so busy so idk how I did it).  When is season 3 coming out??!!!

Guacamole pre made at the store:  I’ve been meaning to find out where this was located at the grocery store… for probably 2 years and finally I remembered to find it WHILE I was actually there… I ate the whole container in like 2 days and I was in love with it.  I want to try the other kinds… spicy, homestyle, etc
