Flash Back Friday

THIS is my favorite picture of my sister.  I used to dress her up – and we’d always wear this one wig we had in our dress up clothes.  Then make her pose and take photos with a real camera with actual film.  To print these it must have cost my parent’s too much?  I can’t believe my parents actually allowed me to take ridiculous pictures like this with film that cost money and then actually have to print them to see them.  Now days with phones and digital cameras it’s so totally not the same.  I mean look at this gem!  And that pose!  She should have been a model!  She took direction very well!

Thursday Thoughts

It’s Thursday and I am linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom…

First of all I have to admit… I was disappointed  that The Middle, Suburgatory, and Modern Family were not new last night.  I hate when I am pumped for new tv and it’s repeats.  Season finales are approaching and that makes me sad.  BUT new Grey’s and Scandal tonight so that makes me smile.

Ummm is this real life?  73 on Monday???  That is just too weird.  I am still used to needing 5-10 extra minutes brushing my car off in the morning praying I am not plowed in.

Will they find this plane already?  STILL every morning I turn on GMA to hear the latest and still no.

So far I’ve got these for NF’s easter basket… I really need to get on that!

So WHAT Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and I am saying SO WHAT if…

• I made a Game of Thrones joke at work and no body got it.
• NF wouldn’t eat dinner last night… so I asked him if he would eat dinner if Elsa was there (I think he thought I’d put Frozen on)… so I googled imaged Elsa and pretended to feed her from the computer screen and he ate his dinner.
• I dislike running into people I know at the grocery store.
• I had to go to two different Dunkin Donuts to get 100 munchkins and the second one didn’t even have powdered.
• I totally missed DWTS Monday night because I was busy… and I claim to be a fan… and since no one went home I feel like it’s no big deal.
• I am highly considering getting giant square-ish black hipster glasses… I just need to make the leap…. and if they were Michael Kors it would be even cooler… or would it?
• I have NO idea what I want for my birthday… honestly… a day at the casino with my sister playing bingo like last year was pretty good.

 

What I’m Loving Wednesday

Today’s Wednesday and though, this is no longer a link up, I am still doing it…  I should make my own banner button thing huh?
I am loving…

NF: I’m always loving this guy.  He’s talking more and more.  He actually whispers to me, “mom, it’s fine” I think when he senses I am stressed out.  I mean really, sooo cute!  but I feel bad too… don’t worry about me baby!!  You are right.. it is fine.

Frozen: I’ve seen this movie a few times now… and the first time I watched I was all like what the heck she just meet this guy!  And how did that snow man just appear!!?  But once I got to the end I realized it was a good movie… and then the 2nd time I understood it even better…. Watching with NF I don’t catch 100% of the movie… usually the first 30 I get and then it’s down hill from there.  I’m sure you other moms out there know exactly what I’m talking about.

Miranda Lambert: I loved her style at the ACM Awards.  She is totally cool.

Dancing With The Stars Season 18 Update

So I made my predictions here on March 17th… Here’s how I’ve done so far..

Eliminated first was Diana Nyad and Sean Avery.  I had them going out 2nd and 4th but I didn’t anticipate a double elimination the first elimination night.  The next elimination was Billy Dee Williams who I had going out 1st (and he quit bc of doctor’s orders).  SO… the first 3 eliminated I had going out top 4… Only person I was wrong about so far is Charlie White, which will probably be around for a while?  Not totally sure about his fan base though.  Can’t wait for tomorrow!!!  Ugh they’ll be switching up the dance partners soon (this Monday?) not looking forward to that.

Dear Candy Crush, Level 273… I just can’t quit you.

Dear NF, your obsession with Despicable Me… starting to get to me…. “dare-a-me!” (how you say Despicable Me… which kind of sounds like Jeremy with a D)… you will shout this until I put the DVD (you call it a DDD)… and I just don’t know how much Despicable Me I can take?

 Dear Smellen, NF has been asking about you.  Our 4 day trip to Vermont last weekend has got him used to you being around all the time.  Sooo he should probbbably see you this weekend.  I know you read this!!!  So get at me sista!

Dear Kris and Bruce Jenner, I am always and always will be rooting for you!!  So these rumors that you’re back together or never even were apart, make me happy.

Dear Snooki, congrats on having another baby!!  Can I just say that I hope it’s a girl… and I hope that Jwoww’s baby girl and your baby girl are bffs in matching animal print outfits!  Please!!

Dear Parenthood (the show on NBC), you are a really really good show and I love how you are portraying real life situations that I can either relate to or open my mind to.  I laugh and I cry every episode.

Dear DWTS, Why are you changing the partners?  Am I going to like this?  Or is it going to stress me out?

Dear April, so far you’ve been good… let’s just not rain a ton please.

Flash Back Friday

Oh my goodness… is this the first day of 4th grade?  1995?  I still have bangs so it must be.  I remember this dress.  I thought it was so amazing – Clueless came out in 1995 and I THINK I thought my outfit was sort of cool like that movie… which I am pretty sure I was too young to have seen but I must have seen it.  I remember saying, “as if!” a lot.  And those sneakers… so white!

Thursday Thoughts

I am going to the eye doctor today to get a prescription and it’s been… like 3 1/2 years???  and my glasses have been broken since July 2013… I am ALSO getting a hair cut today and it’s been 16 months.  WHAT FINALLY!!

Wednesday night we went to pajama story time at our local library.  It was SO cute… ages 2-5 and they wore their pjs and could bring a stuffed animal.  NF brought a kangaroo.  He danced and shook a bell thing for the first song and then ran away to the play train table with two other little toddler boys totally uninterested in the story time too.  It was good though… so fun to go do something different and see the little ones in their pjs!  Oh and NF LOVES the computers there.
