Thursday Thoughts
Today is Thursday and it’s time to link up with Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom…
NF… I THINK he needs an earlier bed time. He goes to bed at 9 PM and I am struggling to wake him up at 7:30 AM. But then I don’t want to go ruining nap time? I am seriously thinking 8:30 PM might have to be the new bed time, and maybe we’ll keep it 9 PM on the weekends? It’s true, kids bed times get earlier as they get old, and their naps slowly disappear?
Amanda on Big Brother 15… the WORST! AH she really can’t get any more worse can she?! She’s awful!
Gina Marie, Elissa, or Judd…. ANY ONE of these three can win it and I’d be happy. I am so tired of the rest of the house!
Oh and Amanda’s tramp stamp… gross.
Let’s end this on a more positive note… I need something to think about other than Big Brother 15 drama that makes me crazy…..ummm…. 54 days until the next episode of Pretty Little Liars.

Apple Straws: My sister and her bf introduced these to me over the weekend. Oh my goodness. So good! And they are a pretty good snack for NF too! We love them. They are at Wegmans for $2.50 a bag… I picked up 4!
When Rocky and Adrian see their baby: We’ve been watching the Rocky movies in order and I cry everytime! Also, Rocky Jr looks EXACTLY like NF when he was born. See…

Friday, August 23rd 2013… a day in history… I saw three Real Housewives!! Okay, okay, they came to our state fair… and it was a show… BUT… here is the best part… I shook Kathy Wakile’s hand! AHH! Photos…..

The Goodies Co. Taster’s box is $7 (that includes shipping)… and you get about 5-7 snacks mailed to you to try. You can review them online and get points – once you get 300 points you can use that for a free box. (My next box is free)!
Hersey’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix: This is what I saw first when I opened the box. It’s just a big box! I guess I never really knew they made cookie mix, only brownie mix. Brownie mix is so easy.
Pronto Coffee: concentrated liquid coffee (just add 10 oz hot or cold water) … sounds great to me! I got southern pecan flavor. Can’t wait for this!
Mott’s Medley Assorted Fruit Snacks: I’m not a fruit snacks kinda girl, never have been… but if I was to get some… these would probably be it. They were So juicey! (but they stuck to my teeth?) I liked that they had vitamin c.
Fiber One – Chocolate Fudge Brownie: I do not like these. For some reason I feel like I’ve had them a bunch of times but I’ve never bought them. Why eat this if they’re not good, and the real thing is 1,000x… maybe I’m a brownies snob?
Granola Thins – Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter: I LOVE dark chocolate, on almost anything. So yeah, that with some peanut butter… soo good. I loved it.
Tangy Zangy Twisties – Wild Berry: I expected a punch of sour and got nothing really. They were a little tasteless and not that sour at all. With such a loud package I thought it’d be more exciting.
Poplets – Sea Salt & Butter: I HATED these. Ugh they were not good. I could just eat the bottom of a popcorn bag.

Friday iPhone (except not) dump
I by NO means have an iPhone. I have a really old phone and I do occasionally take photos with it. These are the four I took this week…
1. This is my niece… and she’ll tell you, “I love fashion.” She wore this to softball Monday… yeah those are up to the knee converse chuck taylors with rainbow laces…. hot pink leggings… and a t-shirt that says, “you should see me dance”. She owns it.
2. Sunday I made orange chicken in the crock pot. I found a recipe on pinterest. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE that has been fooled by the same recipe????? I put chicken breast, ginger, garlic, a carrot, green pepper, and a can of orange juice concentrate…. and let it on low for 6 hrs. It was not edible. Did I do something wrong or did this recipe seem way too good to be true. It was horrible.
3. Instead of the kids salon with cartoons, and music, and a toy at the end…. I went to a random hair salon I walked by with NF instead. She didn’t have a kids seat with a strap… she seemed pretty nervous about cutting a toddler’s hair (they are wild cards ya know)… but it turned out great and it cost $9 compared to $20 at the kids salon. AND I think this hair cut is much better than the other ones he’s had. but she didn’t use a cape on him and he was covered in hair, so we immediately ran home for him to take a bath.
4. This is parenting… napping while your toddler sits on top of you eating a bowl of plain cheerios.
