Thursday Thoughts

Linking up with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for some Thursday Thoughts…

Joey Lawrence averages two numbers on ABC’s Splash… Anyone else still watching this show?  I am.  My favorite part now is where Joey Lawrence averages the two scores together.  He’s a math genius!

Farrah’s ___ tape… When I heard the rumors that Farrah made a you know what tape I totally believed it.  She’s done just about everything else sooo it just seemed like it was going to happen sooner or later.  I don’t really want to comment on it much more than that.

Spaghetti Aglio e Olio… I’d just call it pasta with garlic and oil… and I want it.  Mario Batali made this on the Chew… and for anyone who doesn’t know how to make this go here and then make it.  It’s delizioso!  (and simple).

Thunder in APRIL!?… It thundered and lightninged Tuesday and Wednesday night this week and it made me nervous but I kinda liked it.

  1. It’s been thundering and lightening here too and I love it!

Oh and I am still watching Splash. None of these people are the sharpest crayons in the box. They can never figure out what scores they need to stay or who is ahead of who until they actually announce it. Cracks me up.

    Thanks for linking up!

  2. Hahaha I love your Joey Lawrence comment. We caught a little bit of the show on Easter after brunch and we all had a chuckle when he averaged 6 and 7. It seemed like he was making a big deal out of taking the average. Like this is the only show that would do that for you the viewer.

My mom used to always make Aglio e Olio but it wasn’t as fancy. Lots of oil and garlic then she’d add mushroom, broccoli, black olives, and lots of parmesan. The black olives sound weird but we loved them as kids and we loved saying the name Aglio e Olio.

  3. What is with these teen mom girls and acting all cray! Sigh. I haven’t seen Splash yet, should I?? It rained here a few weeks ago, but it was like 75 degrees outside. It was exciting for March lol.

    • Sound you see splash? Yes. But you have to make your own fun with it! If you’re seriously watching it for the diving, you’re not going to be impressed. Plus a dive is like less than 5 seconds. At least on dancing with the stars you’re looking at their performance for a couple minutes with music.
